When attempting to run any Notes Migrator for Exchange wizard an error pops up stating:
Unable to contact server server name. Check your Domino server setting: The server is not responding. The server may be down or you may be experiencing network problems. Contact your system administrator if this problem persists. [8796-109-13-00000807]
This error persists if the %path% system variable on the migration console is pointing to the wrong nnotes.dll location on the machine.
Solutions to check:
1] Verify the %path% system variable on the machine is pointing to the correct location of the nnotes.dll file. For example, if the Notes Client is installed in: C:Program FilesLotusNotes, then this is where the nnotes.dll should be located. The %path% system variable should be pointing to this location.
2] Possible access issue with in Lotus Domino i.e. MNE is unable to read the source data. Check to make sure that the migration account/user has "Manager" access in the ACL to the database and not setup as "Designer".
To change the system environment variable on the console.
1. Right click My Computer->Properties
2. Click on the Advanced tab
3. Select Environment Variables
4. Find the Path System Variable
5. Point it to the location of the nnotes.dll file
