Timer Job stuck in Aborting status (4337782)

Symptom

To resolve the issue, delete the running job manually in SharePoint by doing the following:

1. Open Central Administration and navigate to Monitoring > Timer Jobs > Review Job Definitions.
2. On the jobs list, navigate to the StoragePoint section, then locate the stuck timer job on the list.

   If found, click on it and select Delete. Or, you may have to disable it first, go back into the job, and then delete it. When done, proceed to step 7.

   If the job does not appear on the list, proceed to step 3.

3. Open SQL Server Management Studio, then expand the StoragePoint database > Tables.
4. Right-click on dbo.Jobs and select Edit Top 200 Rows. The StoragePoint jobs will be displayed on the right-hand side.
5. Right-click on the entry that shows "Aborting" on the Status column, then select Delete.
6. Select Yes to delete the row.
7. Refresh the Job Status window and the stuck job should now disappear from the list.
