Description
When attempting to run GUI oracle user wizard or manual install.sql you may experience the error:
ORA-28547: connection to server failed, probable Oracle Net admin error
Even thou you can connect to same database just fine from this workstation using SQLPLUS and TOAD. -
Resolution
Please make sure you copy install.sql script to the server and run on the server locally.
The manual scripts default location on the client machine (to be ran on the monitored server directly) is : c:| Program Files|Quest Software|SpotlightPlug-ins| SoO| OracleScripts
