Spotlight client is losing connection to Diagnostic Server. Error "Connection lost to server..."
Version 11.7.1.8361 is using a lot of CPU (high CPU)
Following issues might be present in the version 11.7.1.8361:
- Client disconnects frequently
- Higher CPU usage caused by Diagnostic Server collecting excessive sessions data.
DS-595 - SQL Connection List collection has key column that contains duplicate values
DS-572 - The query plan column in the SQLConnectionList collection should only be sent to the cloud
DS-623 - Workload Analysis showing wrong SQL against an application
SOLUTION:
These issues are address on Spotlight 11.7.1.8364 or higher. The latest version of Spotlight can be downloaded here.
As usual, when upgrading it is recommended to backup your Spotlight databases (SpotlightPlayback and SpotlightStatisticsRepository - if it was created) as well as copy of DiagnosticServer\Agent folder prior to upgrade.
