Cannot get the OR function to work in the WHERE part of QUERY BUILDER (4335064)

Cannot get the OR function to work in the WHERE part of QUERY BUILDER.
Getting the error "ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis" when following the  instructions in the help guide "Populating the Where Clause".

WORKAROUND:
It is possible to use Toad For Data Analysis (more information in http://www.quest.com/toad-for-data-analysts/).
With this tool it is possible to create queries and reports in an easy way  and the OR function works fine there.
To use Toad For Data analysis , please  use the same key that the Toad one (Help|Register Toad).
