Please apply the patch attaached to this solution only if you are on version 7.0.1
It should work for both SQL Server 2005 and 2008 connections:
1. Stop the Quest Diagnostic Server service from Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services;
2. Backup the following files by removing them from the Diagnostic Server folder:
<Quest Software>\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\2005\QS_CurrentWorkload.sql
<Quest Software>\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\2008\QS_CurrentWorkload.sql
3. Copy the attached file QS_CurrentWorkload.sql
to the <Quest Software>\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\2005 location on the Diagnostic Server-machine;
4. Copy the same attached file: QS_CurrentWorkload.sql
to the <Quest Software>\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\2008 location on the Diagnostic Server-machine;
5. Start the Quest Diagnostic Server service;
It should be done on the Diagnostic Server machine. Please note that in SoSSE 7.0 Diagnostic Server runs SQL commands remotely without using WorkDB.
