When compare/repair is run for a table, the compare job fails with ORA-01406.

Cause
The structure of table is different between source and target. The size of two columns of the table in target is bigger than source. Compare client allocated the buffer based on source table information not target.

Resolution
Make change to target table to match what you have on the source.
