Description
Encountered the following error while connecting to Spotlight
The Oracle connection to TESTDB has failed with the error: ORA-00603: ORACLE server session terminated by fatal error while attempting to refresh table Datafile. Spotlight is attempting to re-establish this connection. -
Cause
This is caused by an Oracle bug referenced in the metalink article below:

Resolution
Download patch from http://metalink.oracle.com
This issue is fixed in Oracle 10.2.0.5 (Server Patch Set) 11.2 (Future Release).
