Description
Loaded a query then clicked execute SQL and the error shows:
"Server did not respond within the specified timeout interval"

Resolution
RESOLUTION #1:
Go to Tools | Options | Database | Timeouts and set all timeout options to “0”. This will set to no timeouts at all.
RESOLUTION #2:Make sure that the server the database is setup on can be pinged. If the server cannot be pinged, then Toad will not be able to connect to the database.
