Explain plan for create table does not show -
Description
1. Explain plan is shown in the explain plan window below the SQL editor for a particular select statement.
2. On the same SQL editor, a create statement was typed in, then when the explain plan icon is clicked, the explain plan does not change for the create table statement.

Resolution
1. Uninstall Toad for Oracle either via "Add/remove programs" in control panel or from the quest installer - Start | Programs | Quest Products | Uninstall Quest Products.
2. Navigate to the following directories then rename all Toad for Oracle folders including the old version folders.
a. C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 11.5 -> rename Toad for Oracle 11.5 to something like Toad for Oracle 11.5_old
b. C:\Documents and settings\<Your user>\Application data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 11.5 -> rename Toad for Oracle 11.5 to something like Toad for Oracle 11.5_old
c. C:\Documents and settings\All User\Application data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 11.5 -> rename Toad for Oracle 11.5 to something like Toad for Oracle 11.5_old
3. Reinstall Toad for Oracle.
4. You may be prompted to configure settings so please choose the default or new settings.
5. Now, please login and see if issue persist.
6. Also, check if your oracle plan table is setup. Go to View | Options | Oracle | General.
