How to recreate the Local Credential (4330881)

The "local account" is missing from the credential dashboard.

Some entries in the agent log have indicated that an internal connection could not be established:

Recreating the "local account" will resolve the issue.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to "Manage Credentials"  dashboard
2. Click on "Add"
3. Select "use Client's Login At Connection Time" form the drop-down menu
4. Please provide a unique name to identify this credential e.g. "Local Account for Monitoring WindowsOS"
5. Select Lockbox, "system"
6. Click on "Next"
7. Click on "Add"
8. Select " Is Local host" from the drop down menu by "Access resources Using"
9. Click on "Add"
10. Then "Next and "Finish"

Notes:

Other mapping conditions for resources can be added or restored in the same way.

Another example would be for Unix Agents monitored locally.  In this case, the "New Resource Mapping Condition" will have to be added - same steps below for other "Usages" - in this example,

Usage: 'Infrastructure Monitoring for Unix'

 And:

Access resources Using" equal to "Is Local Host"
