No unicode characters in data grid displayed, but copying them to the clipboard works fine.

Resolution
Please check the Fonts for displaying the Data Grid with a Unicode Font:
1. In Toad, go to View | Toad Options.
2. On the left, click Data Grids - Visual.
3. Click on Fonts button.
4. Change the Font to a Unicode Font like "@Arial Unicode" or similar, then click OK.
5. Close and restart Toad and re-test again.For Toad 10.6 and above:
1. In Toad, go to View | Toad Options.
2. On the left, click Data Grids - Visual.
3. Click on Edit Styles on the right side.
4. On the new window, click on Edit.
5. On the next window, click to highlight Content.
6. Click the Font ellipses button to bring up the Font window.
7. Change the Font to a Unicode Font like "@Arial Unicode" or similar, then click OK.
8. Click to highlight ContentEven and change the Font there.
9. Click to highlight ContentOdd and change the Font there.
10. Click OK on all windows.
11. Close and restart Toad and re-test again. -
Additional Information
If you wish to see multi-byte characters in Single Record Viewer then it will be necessary to add Asian Language support to the PC
Start | Control Panel | Regional and Language options | LanguagesBoth options should be checked in 'Supplemental Language Support' (This will require Windows CD for installation anda reboot)If supplemental languages are installed then it is not necessary to select a Unicode font in the data grid either.
If you did not find Unicode font in the dropdown menu in Toad View Menu | Toad Options | Data Grids | Visual | Edit Styles | Edit | Content, ContentEven & ContentOdd | Font, they you will need install the Font via you Office installation and follow the steps below:1. In the Control Panel, start up Add/Remove Programs, select the Office
item, and click the Change button.2. Select "Add or Remove Features". On
the next page, check the box for advanced customization.3. On the third page, expand the Office Shared Features icon, click the Fonts item,
and select "Run all from my computer".4. Click the Update button. It may
or may not request the original CD.
