Product Installation issue with SQL Error: "Unable to connect to master or target server" -
Description
Attempting to install product (as Administrator) and generates the following error:
Publishing to database '<SQLDBName>' on server 'SQL'.
Initializing deployment (Start)
Initializing deployment (Failed)
*** Could not deploy package.
Unable to connect to master or target server '<SQLDBName>'. You must have a user with the same password in master or target server '<SQLDBName>'.
The SQL database is created but none of the objects (Tables, view, functions etc)
Also tried creating a new account other than sa and gave it dbcreator and well as sysadmin roles;

Cause
Unsupported version of SQL or a corrupt install of SQL Express -
Resolution
Review product documentation, and install the supported version of SQL (or SQL Express).
If a supported version of SQL Express is installed, then uninstall and install SQL Express should resolve the issue.
Contact Product Support if this does not resolve the issue.
