How to get a graph view for canned custom view? (4327147)

Foglight/vFoglight has below canned custom view report:

• Click "General" tab on right-action panel and then click "Reports | Create a new report"
• Select "All Data", then click on "Next"  and type in the name of the report
• Finally click on "Finish"
• Click "Data" tab and expand "VMware | Drag & Drop ESX Hosts | Select View"
• Uncheck the show by role option in "Expand VMware | Report Assets"

Here you see all the 4 options:

ESX Host Physical Disks By Queue latency - Bottom 5 etc etc.
You can select one option at a time, click "Next" and select the ESX hosts from Filter List. Finally click on "Finish"
Repeat it for all the other 3 options.

Then click "Run" on the custom report to get all 4 options for the ESX as a PDF report.

This will procude a table view. Is it possible to get graph view?

WORKAROUND:

Chart/Graph portlets need to be created for those metrics:
Drag a list of "Physical Disks" out of an ESX Host object from the "Data" tab and select each one of those metrics individually to have a chart for ( using the select a metric option).

The only way to get the grap view:

• Go to "Data" tab and expand "ESX Hosts".
• Expand your ESX host and select "Storage"
• Drag & Drop "Physical disks" and select metric.
• Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see the metrics: Total Read latency, Total Write latency & Total Command latency.

As indicated above: You will need to select each one of those metrics individually to have them in a chart.

Then run the custom report.
