It was possible in older versions of Toad (from version 9 and older) but there is no specify encrypted logon in parameter files any more in the later versions. Those parameter files aren't valid any more.
Schema compares and other things (more than in Toad 9) can still be done from a command prompt, but needs to use the Automation Designer now. The Automation Designer uses logins stored in the login screen's file. In the old way, a handful of windows could export their settings into a file and then you could look at the file with notepad to see how to make Toad run it from a command line.
The automation designer is more centralized into Toad and the user doesn't end up with a bunch of files to carry around. Settings are stored automatically whenever you perform an action in Toad.
Be familiarized with the Automation Designer. The Help file has more information about this.
