Getting an error when accessing reports after upgrading to 7.3 or 7.4 -
Description
After upgrading to MessageStats 7.3 or 7.4, and you then access the reports you will see the following error: "Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. (DB_SEC_E_AUTH_FAILED 0x80040e4d)". -
Resolution
Workaround:
1. Navigate to <InstalledDirectory>\Quest Software\MessageStats and copy the QMSReport.udl file.
2. Navigate to <InstalledDirectory>\Dell\MessageStats and replace the QMSReports.udl file with the one you copied from the directory in Step 1.
Status:
Waiting to be fixed in a future release of MessageStats.
