The diskio agent has been installed to monitor file system on a Linux monitor host. Most of the metrics are being collected except “Read Written & Read Writes” metrics. The file system is under LVM control and is file system type ext3 . The actual disks are part of storage array.
The data collected by the DiskIO agent cannot be collected from a system that mounts the drive. The DiskIO data needs to be collected from the system that hosts the physical filesystem. The agent does not collect I/O metrics per file system, and that's why the graphs are empty they only collect metrics per disk.
A custom dashboard will need to be built to collect those specfic metrics. Please see solution below
