Single record viewer does not show full value in INTERVAL type column -
Description
When using the Single Record Viewer from a Toad data grid, a column of type INTERVAL DAY(9) TO SECOND(6) does not have its value-box sized correctly, which obscures the full value. It is not even possible to resize the value-box manually.
Steps to Reproduce:1. Run the following script in the Editor:create table table1 (c INTERVAL DAY(9) TO SECOND(6));
insert into table1 values ( '+00 00:08:38.000000' );create view table1_view as select * from table1;2. Open the Schema Browser3. Select the table1_view View | Click the Data tab on the right-hand side
4. Right-click on a record | Select "Single Record Viewer"Expected results:The full value is seen in the field. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
1) Fully Exit Toad.
2) Go to:
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<your_user>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.x\
Vista / 7: C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.x\
(Where X is the specific version installed).
3) Rename Toad.ini to Toad-old.ini
4) Start ToadWORKAROUND 2:
1) Fully Exit Toad.
2) Go to:
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<your_user>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.x\
Vista / 7: C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.x\
(Where X is the specific version installed).
3) Open Toad.ini and remove the following entry from the file:
