.NET 2.0 is installed as well as .NET 2.0 SP1. When installing Site Administrator for SharePoint version 1.8 or earlier an error dialogue box may appears with the following message:
Following software is missing: -Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
If the .NET 2.0 SP1 has been applied then this error will occur. The installer is looking for .NET 2.0 specificallyand will not accept .NET 2.0 SP1.
WORKAROUND
Please download the latest version of the Site Administrator for SharePoint.
