Does Toad Data Point support an Automated Data Dictionary? -
Description
Can Toad Data Point export an automated data dictionary? i.e. Can a DDL script for a schema be created? The database diagram can be seen in Toad Data Point, but it can't be saved. -
Resolution
Toad Data Point is a data analyst tool and, therefore, doesn't include this functionality. There is a context menu from the Object explorer that allows you to Generate SQL | Creation Script, but that can not be done Schema wide. It will not cover every object type, but it's possible to multi-select objects to create the SQL.
