Code Insight does not work for ANSI SQL queries -
Description
When using ANSI SQL for complex queries, the Code Insight pick list does not appear when typing the table alias in the Editor followed by a dot or when pressing "CTRL+".
Steps to Reproduce:1. Load SQL to Editor.
As an example:SELECTsu.standard_unit_pk
FROM
schemaa.standard_unit suJOINschemab.unit u
2. Type the alias for the first schema followed by a dot:ONsu.
Actual results:The Code Insight pick list does not appear for the specific schema.database_object (schemaa.standard_unit ). -
Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
Save the script first.
RESOLUTION 2:
Enable Code Insight in Toad:
1. Go to menu View | Toad Options | Editor | Code Assist.
2. Check the following options "Enable Code Insight pick list", "Cache Code Insight Results" and "Available Variables/Parameters" in Toad Insight Objects session.
