Error: "An error occurred while creating the object. A constraint violation occurred." during the Group Provisioning in CMN Directory Connector (4322679)

When running the Group Provisioning in CMN Directory Connector from Notes to Exchange, there is no contacts created in the target Active Directory.

In the CMN log, the following error being logged:

Error: "An error occurred while creating the object. A constraint violation occurred." during the Group Provisioning in CMN Directory Connector

This is due to the CMN Directory Group provisioning is running in the pure Exchange 2013 environment. There is no "All Groups" address list in Exchange 2013 environment.

WORKAROUND 1:

From the Exchange 2013 Admin Center:

1. Go to the Organization | address lists
2. Create the new address lists with the name called "All Groups"
3. Set the same address list filters as the built-in "All Distribution Lists"
4. Save and update the Exchange address lists.

Once complete, re-run the CMN Directory Connector Group provisioning tasks.

WORKAROUND 2:

From the CMN Console:

1. Select the Group Provision Task from the Director Connector | Connector Settings
2. Right click on the task name, and select Advanced Settings...
3. In the Advanced Settings Dialog, go to "Groups" tab
4. Go to the Provision Attributes tab or/and Update Attributes tab
5. Select the showInAddressBook which have the following value:
   $basedn = "~addressbookroot~"
    if($basedn.contains("addressbookroot")){$values = $null}
    else {
         
         $values = "CN=All Groups," + $basedn
    }
    $values
   
6. Edit the "$values = "CN=All Groups," + $basedn" and replace with "$values = "CN=All Distribution Lists," + $basedn"
7. Click OK to save the configuration.
8. Click "Save" to save the directory connector configuration
9. Click "Activate" to active the changes.
10. Re-run CMN Directory Connector Group provisioning tasks

This will provision the groups and publish to the All Distribution Lists Address list in the Exchange 2013 environment.
