Error: " MAPI network error" when attempt to open a storage based on an online mailbox (4322015)

Attempting to open a storage based on an online mailbox may fail with the error “MAPI
network error.”

This issue only shows up if all of the following is true:
• Microsoft Outlook 2003 is installed on the Recovery Manager for Exchange computer.
• The encryption of MAPI and RPC traffic is enabled on the Exchange Server that hosts the
online mailbox.

WORKAROUND

Uninstall Microsoft Outlook 2003, and then install a later version of Outlook.

STATUS

Waiting for a fix in the future release of Recovery Manager for Exchange.
