Description
Toad Data Point 64-bit. New Connection | choose Oracle under Group | the window or screen is empty or blank. The usual fields, drop-down boxes, etc. are not there.
* TDP reads the oracle home first instead of the System Environment variables.

Cause
Mixed 32-bit and 64-not Oracle Clients were installed. -
Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
Un-installing all Oracle Clients and reinstalling only one client works.
RESOLUTION 2:
User has multiple Oracle Clients, one of them is a 32-bit that works for TNSPING and SQL Plus*. TDP is installed as a 64-bit app. Without considering the other clients in the PATH environment variable, just installing Toad 32 bit-app makes the issue go away.
RESOLUTION 3:
Open the Windows Registry and rename the ORACLE key or folder (to ORACLE_OLD) located at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ORACLE
