Description

The following error may occur when attempting to restore a larger database use the Double-Click Restore exe:

System Error. Code: 6. The handle is invalid.

This can occur even if the backup is striped into multiple files smaller than 4 GB.
Cause

Sever resources may have been completely consumed.
Resolution

Increase the number to striped files. For example if you were originally striping to 9 files, stripe out ot 14.
