While attempting to setup Asset Manager user security, the following is displayed "Error: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8007200A): The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist."
Resolution

Resolution
When using Windows Authentication to access the SQL database, the “Application Pool Identity Account” must be specified with a Windows user that has DBO rights to the Asset Manager SQL database. The account also needs access to start Windows services.
