Description

Resource Updating Discovery process is not running and status shown in "Pending". 'Error Description' may show "Error 0x800706ba. The RPC server is unavailable."
Cause

This due to the Resource Updating Manager (RUM) Controller Service account is having insufficient permission to access ADAM database.
Resolution

Add the RUM Controller service account in 'QMM Console | Action | Delegate' and grant it 'Full Admin' role.
