Are there performance tuning and session browser features in Toad for DB2? How to monitor applications?

Toad for DB2 is more of an administration tool and does not provide features for performance testing and tuning.

The appropiate tool for doing this is Spotlight on DB2.

Newer versions of Toad and Spotlight have integration feature that allow you to work with both applications. If you have further questions check out www.quest.com or contact sales@quest.com.

However, there is an opcion in Toad for DB2 that may help to get session information:

For LUW:
Go to Applications tab on Database level of Database Explorer  (see attachment luw.png)

For z/OS:
Go to Threads tab on Subsystem level (see attachment zos.png)
