Description

Error message Could not load the plan. SSIS components missing when accessing LiteSpeed to do restores or backups.
Cause

Failed installation of SQL Server 2005 sp3, where the registry on the host where Litespeed is being used has not been updated properly.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Reistnall SQL Server 2005 sp3.
