Issue
Sent an End User Migration message with the Migrate My Mail Archives button but when the user clicks the button they get an error with
"This end user migration process was unable to locate the Lotus Notes user name in use on this machine. Please contact your administrator for assistance".
Obviously, the user is in their Lotus Notes and opening the migration message in their Inbox, so we have no clue what this message means.
Solution
The error: "This end user migration process was unable to locate the Lotus Notes user name in use on this machine. Please contact your administrator for assistance"
The end user machine is a multi-user Notes install, or you did not log into Notes with the correct user's ID. Single-usr installs are only supported for the migration to work per the requirements in the Notes Migrator requirements documentation
We recommend using Archive Migrator to copy the end user archives to the Domino server, and allow Notes Migrator to migrate the data.
