When a database connection is lost, the following message is displayed:
"Connection to database lost and successfully reopened. Do you wish to execute the last command again?
[YES[ or [NO]"
Is there a way to automatically say 'YES' to execute the last command again?
The next time the message is displayed, note that there is a checkbox in the bottom left - 'Do not prompt me again'.
If this is checked before clicking 'Yes', then Toad will store this action and the message will not be displayed any longer. Instead, it will execute the last command.
** It is important to note that once this is set, Toad will continue to do the same action every time the connection gets lost.
In Tools | Options | Environment | Confirmations note that 'ignored' messages will still display in the status bar if this option is checked.
To reverse the 'ignore' action that was previously set, click the 'Clear Ignored Confirmation' button. This will clear ALL messages that were previously chosen not be prompted for.
