How to enable or disable a DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server database agent collection?
Description
How can the Database Administration panel be used to disable or enable an Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 database agent collection?
Resolution
To enable or disable a database collection via the Global Administration panel:
Navigate to the database dashboard
Enable the checkboxes for all of the agents being adjusted
Click the Settings button and then Administration (it may be several minutes depending on the number of agents selected to perform the next step)
Navigate to the Collections section and highlight the collection being adjusted
Click the edit button and uncheck the "Enable Collection" checkbox to disable a collection, or enable the collection checkbox to enable a collection
Click the set button in the popup window (the "collection enabled" icon should change to green for an enabled collection, or red for a disabled collection)
Click the save changes button to save the adjustment for all the agents (this may take several minutes depending on the number of agents selected)
Your Request will be reviewed by our technical reviewer team and, if approved, will be added as a Topic in our Knowledgebase.
