Unable to monitor Sybase Backup Server log file -
Description
The Sybase agent is not able to monitor the Sybase backup server log and the following error is seen in the agent log file:
... is not a Sybase Backup Server log file
- AgentErrorMessages: Backup Error Log File does not exist- AgentErrorMessages: Configuration Backup/Server Error Log Path : Non-existing or unreadable file was specified -
Cause
CAUSE 1
Entry did not contain the actual log file name
CAUSE 2
Backup log monitoring is not compatible with remote agents.

Resolution
RESOLUTION 1
Supply the complete directory path including the actual file name.
RESOLUTION 2
Monitor the Sybase agent using a local FglAM and agent.
