Running simultaneous migrations against same collection (4306404)

Running simultaneous migrations with different processes/settings against a single collection from different workstations; For instance, run Mail Only migration against Collection ABC on Workstation 1 and run Calendar Only migration against Collection ABC on Workstation 2.

When using two separate consoles for migrations if you run them on the same collection at the same time; even if you are doing separate elements of same mail file, i.e. Mail only on one console and Calendar only on another, you increase the risk in the migrations failing for both consoles. This is because NME locks the file when migrating it.

Calendar entries and emails are part of the same mail file and so each of the NME applications instances will try and get a lock on the same file at potentially the same time, thus causing parts of one or both of the migrations to fail.

A good way to achieve this would be to stagger the migrations across the consoles so that one starts after the previous one completes. You can use the Schedule migration utility to achieve this.
