Running QMX - OM 2007. I have installed AIX Instrumentation pack to monitor my UNIX server. When I try to start the Instrumentation Pack, it is giving this error continuously.

AIX8004: CreateFile failed with error 2: The system cannot find the file specified. [WATCHDOG8004]

The error appears to indicate that the connection/login is failing. This could most likely be a configuration error.
1. Do a Test Connection and check if either the target system is not running a Telnet or SSH server
2. Check if __Hosts tab setup contents are correct (e.g. set to Telnet but it's SSH or vice versa - set properly but port is wrong or DNS name can't be resolved, etc.).
3. Check the password encrypted files. If they have a .txt extension, change them to have no extension and do a test connection again.
