Support larger database spaces in Sybase monitoring -
Description
For some of the monitored Sybase instances Sybase_MDA_DatabaseTransLogSpace objects are not being updated and Sybase DB_Space_TransLog alarms are not triggered.
The stored procedure sp_fgl_dbspace fails with error:
Msg 247, Level 16, State 1:
Server 'hostname', Line 66:
Arithmetic overflow during implicit conversion of UNSIGNED INT NULL value '2494126080' to a INT field . -
Cause
Data type limit (int) exceeded.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
This issue has been fixed in the 5.9.7.22 hotfix release of the Sybase SAP cartridge.
STATUS
This issue was logged as defect FOG-2546 and has been fixed in the 6.1.0.10 and higher releases of the Foglight Cartridge for SAP (Sybase). -
