Is it acceptable to have MessageStats installed on the same machine SQL Server is deployed? (4305616)

When MessageStats, would it be acceptable to have it installed on the same machined that would be providing database to it with SQL Server installed?

Both MessageStats and SQL Server are very resource demanding services. So with them competing with each other for the computer resources while completing the tasks, this might affect the performance of the QMS service to the point it is not feasible to depend on its information. So, although it will work, it is not recommended to create such environment, especially for large messaging environments.
