This is used when more information is need about an error inside of the ChangeAuditor Repository.
1. Locate the CAADRepository.exe.TraceLogConfig.xml (Default location is C:\Program Files\NetPro\Compliance\Service\ChangeAuditor or C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Compliance\Service\ChangeAuditor).
2. Right-Click on CAADRepository.exe.TraceLogConfig.xml and Edit with Notepad.
3. Locate the line that says "<priority value="info" />".
4. Change "info" to "debug".
5. Locate the line that says "<param name="MaxBackupIndex" value="1" />".
6. Change "1" to "10". (Please read Additional Information below for a more detailed Explanation)
7. Save and Exit the document.
8. Launch services.msc through Start|Run|services.msc.
9. Restart the Netpro ChangeAuditor Repository or Quest ChangeAuditor Repository service.
10. If you open C:\Program Files\NetPro\Compliance\Service\ChangeAuditor\CAADRepository.exe.nptlog or C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Compliance\Service\ChangeAuditor\CAADRepository.exe.nptlog you will now see entries at debug logging level.
Debugging mode creates log entries for most actions. Thus the log files will fill up quickly. For this reason it is recommended to increase the number of rolling log files that can be created.
