What needs to be done when dropping and recreating replicating objects on target? (4301032)

At times one may need to drop and recreate replicating objects on target. This solution delves on a clean procedure to achieve this.

General information.

One needs to carry out the following steps when dropping and recreating objects on target:

1. Stop Post.
2. Drop and recreate the objects as needed.
3. Restart Post.
4. Sync those objects by running compare.

It  should be noted that on the target Shareplex only identifies the objects by name and not object id. So even though the object id changes when dropping and recreating the objects, it does not make any difference to Shareplex and when the Post is restarted, it is business as usual for Shareplex.
