How to schedule a script or automate a process in Toad for Oracle in the command line or Windows Scheduler.
Toad 8.x versions:
For any of the windows that support command line execution:
1. Open the desired window and set the options as if you were going to run the utility now.
2. Click "save settings to file" button (floppy disk icon).
3. Open the file just created in Notepad. There will be directions listed on how to call Toad and run the options file from a command line. Depending on which window this is, there may be other things you need to specify, and they are described in this file.
4. If you want TOAD to close after it runs, uncomment "CloseTOAD".
5. To run nightly, create a batch file with the appropriate commands, then use the Windows Scheduler to schedule the batch file to run.
