Is there a rule to alarm for a long running Oracle or SQL Server query, for example if the query exceeds 30 mins then alert?
There is no specific alarm for long running queries however beginning with the 5.9.7.10 SQL Server and Oracle cartridges, the following rules & alarms have been added to alert on long running sessions.
This alarm is disabled by default and it requires SQL PI to be enabled. This would require creating a new Alarm Template because the Factory Template cannot be edited.
