Description:
From the Mart Administrator, while searching an Active Directory, I'm receiving the following error, "Encountered error while searching group. Please check the directory service configuration and try again." Why?
Solution:
Make sure to enter correct values of string for domain controller field, especially do not miss any space in between the domain controllers.
Domain Controller Name field: Domain Controllers should have a space in between, as dc=abc, dc=com.Please re-configure Mart server, then Logging into the Mart Administrator - searching the located the Group.More Information:• Please contact erwin Technical Support at http://erwin.com/support
