MongoDB agents are not listed in the Database dashboard (4293802)

MongoDB agents are not listed in the Database Global View dashboard after upgrade to 6.1.0

MongoDB dashboards still display data normally.

RESOLUTION 1

WORKAROUND.

Download and install either the 6.1.2.10 SQL Server or Global View cartridge from the Supportlink downloads area.

A copy of the 6.1.2.10 Global View cartridge has been attached to this article. Users must be logged into Supportlink to download this cartridge. 

STATUS.

This issue was logged as FOG-4018 and has been fixed in the 6.1.2.10 and higher releases of the Global View cartridge.

RESOLUTION 2

Check the Database Connections in the Agent Status Properties of the MongoDB agents for duplicate monitoring where there are different hosts with the same alias or different replica sets with the same aliases.

If the agents were created with the wizard, using discovery, even if the discovery was seeded with different nodes, if those nodes are in a single replica set, the agents will each be monitoring every object.

The DBConnectionsList Agent Status Properties are shared across all the agents. Users should clone the agent status property list and configure the replicas as per the agents.
