I get the following error message in Spotlight when connecting with Monitor ASM enabled...
1) ASM Password - Type the password you use when logging on to the ASM database instance that handles storage management for the Oracle database under investigation. The ASM instance contains only one user – SYS – so only the username and password for the SYS account on a relevant ASM instance will provide access to ASM-specific information.
2) The connect sting for the relevant ASM database instance that handles storage management for the Oracle database under investigation will need to be added to the tnsnames files. Additionally, the listener.ora on each node must be modified because the ASM listener does not allow SQLPlus connections by default.
