Description
Could you let me know if there is a fix for this Spotligh on Unix connection issue on Sun Solaris 9?

Datasource error in connection "scacs100": The version of Unix in use at "10.130.192.100" is not supported by this product. -
Cause
The OS account used for Spotlight on Unix has password set to expire causing a message to be displayed at login when the password is approaching expiration which causes a problem for Spotlight when parsing the results of the uname -a command.
Excerpt from release notes:
The UNIX user should have no special processing on log-on. In particular there must be no input required from the user, and nor should any special login banners be displayed. -
Resolution
Use an OS account for Spotlight on Unix that password does not expire.
If you're not able to use an account with a password that does not expire, then the only other workaround would be to change the password immediately when prompted to resolve the connection issue.
