Step 1 (on Server Side): Verify that there is a GPO being deployed. From the Desktop Authority Manager console, go to CLIENT DEPLOYMENT | GPO DEPLOYMENT tab. Confirm and verify that the “Desktop Authority 32 | 64 bit Client Install” is showing.
Step 2 (on Client Side): On the computer that isn’t getting the client. Bring up the CMD prompt (must use “Run as Administrator” on Windows 7 and Vista computers). Type: gpresult /r and verify under “Applied Computer Settings” whether the Desktop Authority 32 or 64 bit client install is applied. If it is not applied, confirm whether the GPO from Step 1 is being deployed to where the computer resides on the Domain.
Also, try a gpupdate /force to reapply and confirm settings. In some instances, a gpupdate /force may have to be done twice for the client to install. This should update the client and make it available.
If it does not or if problems persist, check the event logs on the client machine to check if there may be group policy issues with this computer.
If this does not resolve the issue, please contact Support for immediate assistance.
