When launching a published desktop with RemoteFX Enabled the error “The remote computer disconnected the session because of an error in the licensing protocol” is displayed
This can occur when both the Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Remote Desktop Session Host Roles are installed on the same server.
Install the Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Remote Desktop Session Host roles on two different servers.
This error can also occur if the client is using vWorkspace to manage the HyperV and SCVMM is not used/installed.
