How to search all PL/SQL objects (i.e. Procedures) for a particular text or string in the Procedure code?

Resolution
To search ALL your Procedures for a particular Text or String ‘inside’ the Procedure code, follow the steps below:
Go to Search Menu | Object Search | enter the Text you want to search in the “Search Term” field | check mark Procedures in the middle column/box | also check mark Procedures in the lower-right column/box (“Search Source” Box) | click the first green play icon. That will search the contents of all your Procedures for the Text you entered.
NOTE:
- If you want to search other Schemas, please check the appropriate Schema Name in the left most column/box.
- Always try to minimize the Schemas / Object Types being searched as it can make your Toad hang for a long time.
