Internal: When using Report Designer to create an extract file for all the data models in my repo (4288418)

Problem:

Physical names are showing as %ColDomain:

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Navigate to the Report Designer
2. Click File > New 
3. Select Report Type: Mart
4. Select Entities/Tables
5. Select the following Report Fields: 
   

   • Entity/Table: Specify Model Name at Run Time

   • Properties: Name, Physical Name

   • Attribute: Name, Physical Name 

6.  Click Run Report

Expected Results: Report output should have the Physical Names as they are in the model.

Actual Results: Report output Physical Names have fields that show as %ColDomain instead of their Physical Name.

Solution:

This is due to Defect DE5157 and a fix was provided for 9.8; the fix is version specific. 

To apply the patch found in the file attached:

1. On the mart server host machine:  Stop the MartServer service
2. Go to the Install directory of MartServer and remove or rename the MartServer.war file.  The file usually resides in the folder C:\Program Files\erwin\Mart Server r9\Tomcat64\webapps
3. Place the New MartServer.war file.
4. Delete the subdirectories 'martserver' and 'martadmin' that reside in the folder C:\Program Files\erwin\Mart Server r9\Tomcat64\webapps
5. Start the MartServer service.
   

After the patch has been applied models from the mart will need to be opened and saved back into the Mart to take hold of the fix.
