As a workaround to install a software upgrade, these steps must be followed:
1. Revert server name to old one (this name can be found in installer log file (usually in C:\ProgramData\Quest\DAConsole\DAInstaller.log).
2. Install upgrade.
3. Rename server to new name again (KB Article 126055 may help in this process).
Note: Creating a new server with current name and restoring database solves the issue.
